Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Elizabeth.ai platform ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users, including merchants (business owners) and their customers (end-users interacting via Facebook Messenger).

Elizabeth.ai is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that automates Facebook ordering for micro-businesses. The Service includes:

• AI-powered parsing of customer orders from Facebook Messenger messages and Page comments
• Inventory and product catalog management
• Order tracking and delivery management
• Customer relationship management (CRM)
• Configurable AI bot personas and parser settings

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• One merchant account corresponds to one Facebook Page
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

By connecting your Facebook Page to Elizabeth.ai, you:

• Authorize us to access your Page via the Facebook Graph API using the permissions you grant
• Confirm that you are an administrator of the connected Facebook Page
• Understand that we will send and receive messages on behalf of your Page
• Agree to comply with Facebook Pages Terms and the Meta Platform Terms
• May disconnect your Page at any time via your dashboard settings

• Elizabeth.ai offers multiple subscription tiers with different feature sets and usage limits
• Free tier usage is subject to limits on AI processing, orders per month, and product catalog size
• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Abuse the AI system by sending excessive or malicious requests
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages through Facebook Messenger
• Impersonate other businesses or individuals
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
• Attempt to access data belonging to other merchants

• You retain ownership of all content you upload (products, descriptions, images)
• You grant us a license to use your content solely to operate the Service
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your product listings and pricing
• We are not responsible for transactions between you and your customers — Elizabeth.ai is a communication and automation tool, not a payment processor

• Elizabeth.ai uses artificial intelligence to parse orders and generate responses
• AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate — merchants should review orders before fulfillment
• We are not liable for errors in AI-parsed orders
• Merchants can customize the bot persona and parser behavior via their dashboard

• We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime
• Service disruptions may occur due to maintenance, Facebook API changes, or infrastructure issues
• We will provide reasonable notice for planned maintenance
• We are not liable for losses arising from service unavailability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elizabeth.ai and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Lost profits, sales, or business opportunities
• Errors or omissions in AI-generated responses
• Actions taken by Facebook/Meta that affect your Page or our access to their APIs
• Disputes between merchants and their customers

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

• You may cancel your account at any time via dashboard settings
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, we will retain your data for 30 days before permanent deletion
• Sections on liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution survive termination

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or dashboard notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration.
